For bearing housings where the strength of grey cast iron is still insufficient, cast steel or spheroidal graphite iron (ductile) housings can be supplied. These bearing housings can support approximately twice the load permitted for grey cast iron housings.
These bearing housings are interchangeable in dimensions and are compatible with bearings manufactured by international companies such as SKF, FAG, NTN, ZKL, TIMKEN, and others.
SN 500 series plummer block is interchangeable for the same bearing size and mounting dimensions. A Locating Bearing is arranged by embedding one or two Locating Rings, depending on the case, for its axial location. The SN Series Plummer Blocks Can Be Lubricated With Grease. Felt Strips and Grease Nipples, as well as Plummer Blocks, can be ordered separately.
Customers make extensive use of our SN Series Plummer Blocks used as Flange Blocks. The bearing seat width in the SN Series Plummer Blocks is such that bearings have axial freedom. A locating bearing is positioned by inserting one or two locating rings, depending on its axial location. The SN Series Plummer Blocks can be lubricated with grease. Plummer Blocks can be ordered with felt strips and grease nipples. SN Series Plummer Blocks with horizontal metal labyrinth seals are available for dusty environments.
